Some of the Miniature Bull Terriers are known for being a little busier and livelier. Their smaller size makes them more agile and sometimes a little more headstrong. Could this perhaps have something to do with their history? Around 1900, when the number of miniature Bull Terriers at shows decreased significantly, they were reportedly still used for hunting small game. This task required alertness, speed, and perseverance. They were also crossed with other working terriers during this period. They test boundaries, challenge you, and make you laugh when you least expect it. Their stubbornness requires an owner with patience and a sense of humor. The Dutch Bull Terrier Club rightly advises: \"Think before you leap.\" This certainly applies to the Miniature variety.
