Health First: The Mission of the NBTC
The Dutch Bull Terrier Club is actively committed to preserving a healthy and vital breed. Although Bull Terriers have relatively few hereditary conditions, it's essential to remain vigilant and breed responsibly.
Objectives of the N.B.T.C.
• Promoting health and well-being van Bull Terriers
• Reducing hereditary diseases through targeted breeding advice
• Awareness and education among members and breeders
Responsible breeding
• Testing of parent animals before use in breeding
• Don't breed with animals who suffer from painful hereditary defects
• Transparency and care when making breeding decisions
• Although genetic testing does not provide absolute guarantees, it does demonstrate that breeders are taking responsibility.
